There is something magical about waking up knowing breakfast is already taken care of. These overnight oats are creamy, dreamy, and endlessly customizable. Soaking the oats overnight transforms them into a pudding-like texture that feels like an indulgence but is packed with wholesome fiber and protein. Whether you top them with fresh berries, a drizzle of nut butter, or a sprinkle of cinnamon, this recipe is a gentle, delicious way to start your day right.
1
Searing the Beef
Sear beef fillets on high heat for 2 minutes per side to form a golden crust. Let it cool before proceeding to keep the beef tender.
2
Mushroom Duxelles
Cook the mushrooms until all moisture evaporates to prevent soggy pastry. Aim for a thick, paste-like consistency.
3
Puff Pastry Handling
Keep the puff pastry cold to avoid softness. Chill if it becomes too soft, and score the top lightly without cutting through.

This no-cook oats recipe makes a nice change of pace from traditional oatmeal. It can be made the night before, served warm or cold and the sky is the limit for your favorite add-ins! This is great made in a pint jar but any container will do.
